Your favorite two player card game is about to enter the ring, and it’s brought along the perfect Tag Team partner! Vs. System® 2PCG®: AEW brings the talent of All Elite Wrestling to the table, along with plenty of new possibilities.

Among those is a new type of card that aims to capture the anything goes nature of professional wrestling. We’re proud to present for the first time ever, Challenge Matches! 

When using a main character from the AEW box, you’ll also bring along a Challenge Match out-of-game pile. At the start of any game you’ll then choose one of your Challenge Match cards from said pile to be in effect. That card doesn’t count as being in play and cannot be interacted with during the game at all. In other words, you’re putting an effect into play that’ll affect all Face and Heel characters on your side!

Oh, and if an opponent is using an AEW main character too? Both will choose a Challenge Match to be in effect. So while you might be able to give all your applicable characters Dodge by choosing Steel Cage Match, your opponent could instead have Berserker by declaring a Lights Out Match.
