Introducing the Spring and Summer 2020 Featured Formats for Vs. System® 2PCG®!
In 2018, we announced a new era for Vs. System® 2PCG® – Featured Formats (read that article here). That announcement has brought constant change in the meta as well as incredible deck builds from the player base. Today, we are excited to announce the next two Featured Formats – for the Spring and Summer 2020 Seasons – which will last through September 2020. All tournaments sanctioned by Upper Deck will use these formats, including the Regional and Championship events at:
Featured Format #7: Good vs. Evil
Let’s settle the age-old question once and for all.
Season: Spring 2020
Dates: April 1st 2020 through June 31st 2020
Rules: Choose a main character that has either Good printed team affiliations at each of its levels or Evil printed team affiliations at each of its levels.
If you chose Good, you can’t include any cards with an Evil printed team affiliation in your deck (or as any of your cards that start outside the game).
If you chose Evil, you can’t include any cards with a Good printed team affiliation in your deck (or as any of your cards that start outside the game).
Equipment, Locations, Plot Twists, and Supporting Characters without printed team affiliations can be in Good decks or Evil decks.
All other standard deck building rules apply (such as Photographic and Illustrated Universe rules).

Is there extraterrestrial life in the universe? The answer is a resounding, and terrifying, yes. Luckily, not all is dark in the darkness of space!
Season: Summer 2020
Dates: July 1st 2020 through September 31st 2020
Rules: Your main character must be from one of the following teams:

Note: Any main characters that start outside the game must also be from one of the above teams.
So grab your friends and head to your local gaming store and ask them to run these new formats. Organized Play Kits are also available through your store’s Vs. System 2PCG distributors.
